Cement cArbon Storage Pilot for Emission Reduction

The Cement cArbon Storage Pilot for Emission Reduction (CASPER) project aims:

1. To demonstrate the full CCS value chain from a cement plant, as this first site ever. This consists of capturing CO2 from Aalborg Portland, compressing, liquefying, and transporting the CO2 to an onshore storage facility.

2. To determine and demonstrate necessary post-capture processes needed in the full CCS value chain. This includes conditioning the gas to enable liquefaction, transport, and injection.

3. Evaluate effect on impurities on CO2 transportation in a new EVIDA test facility.
